Singapore Majulah Package 2026: Full Benefits, Eligibility & Payouts

The Majulah Package 2026 is aimed at extending meaningful financial and retirement support to Singaporean citizens who were born in 1973 and earlier. It includes, among other things, CPF top-ups, cash payouts, and MediSave credits, which assist older workers and those nearing retirement in building savings and preparing for retirement in a positive way. In 2026, the Majulah Package is expected to continue offering support to the “Young Seniors” and older cohorts.

Purpose of Introducing Majulah Package

A significant number of Singaporeans aged 50 and above have had rather low incomes during their working life. The Majulah Package, in a sense, rewards those earlier contributions by offering more CPF credits and cash to enhance the retirement and healthcare savings. It also motivates people to work longer to ensure they have a more secure financial and less stressful older age.

Main Benefits of the Majulah Package 2026

The package includes three core components with amounts that vary by income, work status, and CPF balances.

ComponentTypical Amount Range (S$)TypeMain Purpose
Earn and Save Bonus$400 – $1,000 per yearCPF top-upRewards seniors who remain in workforce
Retirement Savings Bonus$1,000 – $1,500 one-timeCPF top-upIncreases retirement savings for lower balances
MediSave BonusUp to enhanced levelsMediSave top-upStrengthens healthcare savings

These credits are automatically deposited into CPF accounts and earn attractive interest over time.

Earn and Save Bonus

If you are 55 years or older and have a monthly salary of between $500 and $6,000, you will receive this CPF credit annually. Those earning less receive a higher bonus. The bonus will be credited to your Retirement Account or Special Account, which will enhance your future monthly payouts from CPF LIFE.

Support for Retirement Savings and MediSave

Through a one-off Retirement Savings Bonus, additional support is provided to those with low CPF balances at age 55. For the MediSave Bonus, additional funds are added to the healthcare account — and for those with greater healthcare needs, the top-ups are larger. They are credited automatically, and no application is required.

Checking Benefits

Eligible citizens receive notification letters annually, and benefits can also be checked in the CPF portal or at govbenefits.gov.sg by logging in with your Singpass. Payment schedules and benefits status can also be accessed.

The 2026 Majulah Package continues to support older Singaporeans to remain active, allow them to save more, and provide them with greater comfort in their retirement. It is a testament to the Government’s active commitment to providing mature citizens with financial security and active ageing. Make sure to check your support entitlements regularly.
